Nature, a deadly force slowly dying,
waits on no one, for
one day the darkness will take out the stars,
and they’ll burn out like dimming light bulbs in a dark room.
The darkness creeps closer,
and God will close their eyes, (if he has the power)
surrendering them to the inky black sky.
One day we’ll meet them, (or maybe we won’t)
and we’ll hear the whispers.
They’ll tell us all the secrets of what’s on the other side.
Of the day,
the darkness took over the stars.
