DECEMBER FROZE IT ALL!

With every wave of the wind that ever tossed those paddy fields

I had once danced with every stroke of it

With a constant rhythm, that no one ever would dare to compete

All those scars still deeply stained, each representing it own painful struggle

I had walked, I had walked bare feet

Hush! but I didn’t tell anyone

All those poems that i left untold

And all those lines that i gifted to every unknown

Wish I had flushed out every story by time

But, now the december froze it all

None of those lively eyes look upon my yard

Aye! why would they?

Now that, not a single flower blooms

So, not any butterfly passes by

No fruit to harvest, no nectar to suck

Had i known no other month would ever come

No may, no June, no July!

I would’ve kept some sparks of my well wishers

I would’ve expressed some welcoming gestures

I wouldn’t have bid any goodbye

Now, I stand still with my cold heart

I wonder how human longings change

Now that I long for any single living atom to come

I long any living to stay

But there’s nothing to count on, just the december hit me,

With my wide open and motionless eyes,

A deadly screen glued to it

What films it uploads!

Ah I would never wish to watch

They do pass by but they don’t remember!

Those eyes that they once craved watching them blink

Watching those long lashes striking magically

They do pass by but they don’t remember!

Ah! I freeze to my extreme

Wish I could make them halt

How unlucky of me!

Not a single tear can fall

For the december froze it all

Aye! the cruel december froze it all
