ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Chanya is an 18-year-old illustrator from Bangkok, Thailand, and is currently an undergraduate student at Rhode Island School of Design pursuing a BFA in illustration. Her body of work often revolves around the conceptual idea of the absurdity of life. Taking interest in philosophy and literature, this recurring motif in her work is inspired by what appeals to her when seeking knowledge. Many of her pieces speak upon an idea deemed absurd to her, making complex themes resonate with simpler visuals in its otherworldly and surreal universe.
