A simple, yet intricate word,
But a word that describes pain so beautifully.
The person you love is the person that hurts you.
The moment you’re in now is the moment you’ll long for later.
The fruit on the tree is the poison.
Even if you apply waterproof mascara,
Even if you smile and wave,
Even if you hide every imperfection,
You will still be empty.
It is impossible to escape the dark,
Until you have made peace with it.
