Through the lens holds any star
As I am here and you are there
You’ll taste the bitter sweet from far
While I believe you’re everywhere
Birthed only for the purpose of heading
Still I remain no closer to you
I gaze upon the distant heaven
Though this world’s hold on me stays true
Memories of us I have clutched
Underneath sky from black to blue
My hands touch as you have touched
For I will find the ghosts of you
Thinking here upon the gravel
How one day, though not soon, I hope
For you a great a ways I’ll travel
But for now I’ll use our telescope
