This photo encapsulates what I think a journey to winter would look like: dreamy, pure, but cold. As for what compelled me to snap this photo, it was the frosted trees; they were incredibly formidable, towering many feet above me, and it gave me a sense of how small humans are compared to nature. I wanted my audience to experience that same awe-struck feeling. That is why I took this photo.
